What a perfect day for the canoe trip. The weather was as perfect as you could want with a nice warm day buut not hot and just a hint of a breeze. We set off from the North Tonawanda Botanicle Gardens and ventured north on the canal to the Campbell Blvd. over pass. Over all the entire trip lasted about 4 to 4 1/2 hours. The scouts all said they had a great time. They learned about team work in a canoe and even managed to play a game as they paddled along by throwing an apple from canoe to canoe. Everyone did their part and I think it was a huge success. I hope that evetns like this will inspire the scouts and encourage them to dream up bigger and better ones. I look forward to doing more like it with them! Be sure to see some pictures of the event on our picture page.
