Tonight was all about the Patrols getting plenty of time to work on advancement. The scouts in each patrol worked together to help one another learn skills for rank advancement. 

Troop 931 had 7 scouts attend the GNFC Cold Weather Training Class. Cole, Gabe, Bredan, Eammon, Michael, AJ & Greg along with Mr. Rotolo, Mr. Burke & Mr. Kindron. Topics covered included proper Layering of clothing and types of clothing, sleeping systems and how to build one, the dangers of cold weather and it's impact on the body, proper hydration and nutrition in cold weather. 

Continued with the Camping MB requirements. Specifically went over Leave No Trace and the Outdoor Code. 

Made plans for January 10th as Orienteering Day at SSR. This is in part a make up for the cancelled November Camp Out. We will meet at the Church at 8am Saturday and drive out to SSR. We will spend the day conducting training on Orienteering for the scouts. This will be a day event only.
