Troop 931 traveled to the northern Pennsylvanian camp ground know as Elk Lick Scout Reservation for a weekend of fun and scouting activities. Scouts from all over Penn. and NYS as well Canada attended and competed in a large variety of scouting activities. despite only have four scouts from the troop in attendance, the boys managed to a second place finish in an event called, "Beer" Pong. Don't worry however, the "beer" was taken directly from the lake and no drinking was involved but getting soaked by buckets of lake water was! the closing Camp Fire was a highlight, having been lite with a Vietnam Era Flame Thrower. Talk about a site to see! Next year will mark the 50th Calumet Camp Out and the boys have already started making plans to return for the big event.
